See which phones and tablets will work with your hearing aids.

Our newest hearing aids can stream music or audio directly from selected AndroidTM phones, tablets and Windows PCs via next-generation Bluetooth LE Audio.

All Bluetooth-enabled Oticon hearing aids can stream music from iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro via Made for iPhone (MFI) technology, and from selected Android phones and tablets via Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) technology.

If your hearing aids support Bluetooth LE audio but your smartphone, tablet or other device does not support it, you can plug the optional Easy LE Adapter into your device’s USB-C port to stream audio.

If you have Oticon hearing aids or a smart device that is not compatible with either LE Audio, MFi or ASHA, then you will need the optional ConnectClip accessory to stream music with your hearing aids.

MyMusic program

Oticon hearing aids have a dedicated program for music that is carefully designed to ensure you hear music in the highest quality possible. Ask your hearing care professional to set up the program for you. Then simply select the MyMusic program on your hearing aids whenever you want to listen to music - whether you’re streaming it or hearing it live.

How to stream music from phones and devices without an accessory

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer or Vision Pro that supports Made for iPhone (MFI) or an Android phone or tablet that supports Bluetooth LE Audio or ASHA, or a PC with LE Audio, you do not need to use the Easy LE Adapter or ConnectClip to stream audio – Simply pair your hearing aids with your device.

First, you need to pair your hearing aids with your device.

Once paired, the music or audio you play on the device will automatically be played in your hearing aids.

To stop the music or audio playing in your hearing aids, simply stop it on your device.

If you want to play the music or audio on another device, you can temporarily turn off Bluetooth® on your device, or unpair your hearing aids.

How to stream audio when your hearing aids are connected to multiple devices

Your hearing aids can be connected to multiple devices. However, if you plan on streaming audio or make calls, we recommend turning off Bluetooth on the devices that you are not currently using.

On computers, we recommend disconnecting the hearing aids, as turning off Bluetooth may disconnect wireless accessories such as mouse or keyboard.

How to stream audio with the Easy LE Adapter

First, you need to pair the Easy LE Adapter with your hearing aids.

Note: Your hearing aids must support Bluetooth LE Audio to be compatible with the Easy LE Adapter.

Your Android phone, tablet or PC must have a USB-C port to use the adapter. Most phones with a 3.5 mm audio jack will not work as intended with the Easy LE Adapter, as manufacturers often choose to route the audio through the audio jack rather than the USB-C.

Enjoy your music.

You are now ready to stream audio with the Easy LE Adapter. The Easy LE Adapter will remain paired to your hearing aids even if it is removed from your PC, tablet or smartphone and plugged into a new device. You can use your LE Adapter with all your compatible devices. 

Note: Your hearing aids can only connect to one LE Adapter at a time.

Note:

After pairing the Easy LE Adapter to your hearing aids, simply plug the Easy LE Adapter into the USB-C port of your device to enjoy wireless streaming of music or audio.

Once the Easy LE Adapter has been paired with your hearing aids, it will keep its pairing. You can easily switch devices by plugging the adapter into the USB-C port of a different device.

How to stream audio via ConnectClip

You need to use a ConnectClip to listen to music or audio from older Oticon hearing aids, and from devices such as computers or other smart devices that do not support Made for iPhone (Mfi), Bluetooth LE Audio or ASHA.

First, you need to pair your hearing aids with ConnectClip.

How to pair your hearing aids with ConnectClip

Once pairing is complete, ensure your ConnectClip is switched on.

Press and hold the multi-button for approximately three seconds until the power indicator shows steady green.

When the ConnectClip is turned on and in range of your device, it will automatically connect.

A steady blue status indicator light confirms it is connected to your device.

Once the ConnectClip is connected to your device, the music or audio you play on the device will automatically be played in your hearing aids.

The status indicator will be steady orange.

To turn off ConnectClip when you are finished streaming, press and hold the multi-button for approximately six seconds, until power indicator is off.

How to listen to music and audio from a TV adapter

TV Adapter can be used to wirelessly transmit audio from music players, entertainment systems, and TVs.
