Auracast™ technology is a wireless audio feature that enables audio sharing from a Bluetooth LE Audio device to other compatible devices. It is intended for both private and public sharing, providing high-quality sound streaming to nearby devices.
This technology enables multiple devices to connect to one audio stream simultaneously. Users can share music with others, listen in a classroom or meeting presentation and other group listening experiences.
This guide explains how to share an audio stream from your Bluetooth LE Audio device.
Oticon hearing aids with Bluetooth® LE Audio support are compatible with Auracast technology.
Audio sharing works on select Android devices with Bluetooth LE Audio running Android OS 15 or above.
Note: Phone manufacturers may use different terms for Audio sharing; this guide uses the term Audio sharing.
Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on, your hearing aids are paired and connected to your device.
